Consult your doctor first if you are interested in discussing medical cannabis as a treatment. After making an appointment, here are some tips on how to approach the topic of medical cannabis:
- Review all pertinent information. Research our website and bring with you any legitimate, peer reviewed scientific studies on medical cannabis and how it may relate to your ailment.
- Be frank and upfront. If you are concerned about the multitude of negative side effects associated with pharmaceutical drugs, express your reservations openly. Ask if using medical cannabis might be a viable alternative.

PARTNERS IN PATIENT HEALTH
Bill C-45 requires healthcare practitioners to issue patients with a signed medical document. It must indicate the dosage of the cannabis product prescribed. The patient can then obtain the cannabis by submitting the medical document directly to a licensed commercial producer, such as Atlas Growers.WHAT GROWING PROCESSES DOES ATLAS GROWERS USE?
Atlas uses high-quality processes and procedures throughout the growing, extraction, processing, and packaging stages. Our climate-controlled indoor facility provides the right environment for fertilization, pest control and nutritional programs.
We are fully equipped to precisely monitor and manipulate variables such as temperature, humidity, and lighting. This allows us to optimize these inputs during the plant’s life cycle.
DOES ATLAS USE PEST-CONTROL?
Health Canada regulates the types and quantity of pest-control that can be used on cannabis plants. These safe pest-control will be used only as needed and always within acceptable ranges to protect our plants from infestation. Our controlled-environment agricultural facility dramatically reduces the threat of pests, which means our cannabis plants will require fewer pest-control.
